Pomegranate, a plant belonging to the Hennagiller family, has small seeds and hundreds of grains. This fruit, which has a slightly sour and sweet taste, is consumed simply. It is also used in desserts and salads. Consuming pomegranate juice by squeezing is very common in Middle Eastern countries. Pomegranate vinegar and pomegranate syrup are also foods obtained from pomegranate fruit and used in meals. It is rich in B vitamins, vitamin C and potassium.
