Black Sea Cabbage

Although Black Sea cabbage is grown in all seasons, it is a vegetable consumed mostly in winter. There are also those who call the green-leaved and evergreen cabbage "black cabbage". Black Sea cabbage, which has a very large growing area in the northern climatic regions, is mostly grown in the Black Sea region. The Black Sea region is followed by the Marmara. Due to the abundance of its growing area, there are many types of dishes made with cabbage in the Black Sea region. Among them, the most well-known is cabbage soup. In addition, cabbage rolls are the most preferred cooking method.

 

Nutritional and energy values of Black Sea cabbage: This cabbage has higher nutritional values than other cabbages (Brussels sprouts and white cabbage and red cabbage). If consumed in winter, it acts as a strong shield against flu and colds. 100 grams of Black Sea cabbage contains approximately 2 grams of fiber. It is one of the vegetables with high fiber content. Potassium and calcium ratios are higher than 100 milligrams. It is quite high in vitamins A and C. Fat percentage is almost non-existent.
